Dementia Training
Joined-up Training is able to offer a huge range of training by qualified and experienced trainers with considerable experience in Social Care. The courses are tailored to meet outcomes as set out in The Common Induction and National Occupational Standards, linking to QCF levels 2, 3 and 5.
One such example is the training for those staff working with individuals with Dementia. This course gives an insight into the issues faced by staff when working in this field and will also support them to consider some strategies they might use to best meet the individual’s needs. To compliment this course we also offer training about The Mental Capacity Act.
This course is suitable for any provider of services to people with Dementia and will contribute to employee’s undertaking a QCF Diploma as both knowledge and Guided Learning Hours.
