Introduction to Counselling Skills
This introduction to basic Counselling and Counselling Skills will Build on the Listening Skills course or enhance basic skills that an individual may already have in this area. The course will explore what counselling skills actually are, and how to begin to use them in professional settings.
Introduction to Cognitive behaviour Therapy in counselling
This approach is widely used in many settings where people need support. The Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Counselling (CBT) is often used in settings such as NHS and social care. A recent Government report suggested the creation of thousands of new CBT trained counsellors to deal with issues like unemployment, high pregnancy rates, low self-esteem issues etc in the UK.
This course would be an introduction to CBT Counselling following the introduction to Counselling Course, therefore giving a more in depth look at CBT counselling specifically.
