Challenging behaviour
Working Positively with behaviour we find Challenging

Aims:

- To introduce participants to basic concepts of providing positive responses to people who exhibit difficult behaviour

- An opportunity to examine our own behaviour, gain a basic understanding of the origins of behaviour.

- Offer a framework providing a positive service and some reactive strategies.


By the end of the course participants will:-

•Apply their basic understanding of behavioural concepts when working with people

•Be able to complete an ABC assessment

•Develop and maintain a consistent and positive approach

•Recognise the need for a positive lifestyle that provides opportunities to develop new skills
